Billing & Payments

Invoice once. Get paid automatically.

Set up a fee schedule once and Uniqda handles the rest — recurring invoices generated on your billing cycle, online payment collection, and autopay for the families who want to set it and forget it.

Fee schedule templates

Define a family's line items, billing cycle (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or four-weekly), billing anchor day, and due-day offset once — Uniqda applies it going forward.

Recurring invoices, generated automatically

A scheduled billing run scans every active fee schedule, generates draft invoices in bulk, and lets you preview and confirm before anything sends — the same batch-review pattern for a center with 8 families or 180.

Sequential, downloadable PDF invoices

Every invoice gets a professional, center-scoped invoice number and a server-rendered PDF — emailed to parents automatically and always available in their portal.

Autopay with stored payment methods

Families opt in once via a Stripe-backed setup; invoices are charged automatically after that, with a per-family toggle and a center-wide default you control.

Family ledger, credits & refunds

A running balance per family — charges, payments, and credits in one place — with a proper refund and credit-note workflow instead of a manual adjustment.

Government subsidy & split billing

Split an invoice between a guardian and a subsidy or agency payer, with income-tier grant resolution and validity windows — tracked alongside private payments, not in a separate spreadsheet.

Built for multi-currency, multi-center operators from day one

Payments are scoped per center, not per organization — each center gets its own connected payment account, currency, and payment rail (ACH in the US, ACSS debit in Canada). A guardian with children at two centers sets up payment for each independently, the same way they'd deal with two different schools.

That matters if you run centers in more than one country, or you're a franchise where each location is its own legal entity: money goes to the right bank account, in the right currency, without a spreadsheet reconciling it after the fact.

Automated late fees, a configurable dunning workflow, and aging/revenue reports are on our near-term roadmap and not yet available.
